Our Commitment

IDFS AI LLC is committed to ensuring that idfs.ai and every Forged Site we build is reviewed against WCAG 2.2 Level A and Level AA. Accessibility is not a feature we ship late. Our own changes are reviewed for accessibility before they publish, and a nightly scan continues after launch.

We believe the web works best when it works for everyone, including visitors using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, voice-control software, or assistive technologies we have not yet encountered.

What We Do

• Nightly Vigil scan of live Forged Sites with axe-core, using WCAG 2.2 Level A and AA rules on about 8 pages, desktop and mobile. Coverage is partial, and assets served from other domains are not scanned. Before launch, a staging check targets zero failed Lighthouse accessibility audits and zero axe WCAG 2.2 A/AA violations, plus a human review of what scanners cannot judge.
• Keyboard navigation across every interactive element, including skip-to-content links and visible focus indicators.
• Semantic HTML with correct landmark roles, heading hierarchy, and ARIA labels only where native semantics are insufficient.
• Color contrast of 4.5:1 or better for body text, 3:1 or better for large text and non-text UI components.
• Reduced-motion respect: animations honor prefers-reduced-motion.
• Alternative text for every meaningful image; decorative images are marked as such.
• Captions and transcripts for video content where available.

Known Limitations

After launch, staff review accessibility at least monthly, alongside the nightly sample scan. Failures in our own work are fixed free. A client design choice that conflicts with WCAG is recorded as an exception and is never called conforming. Some third-party embeds (YouTube, Google Maps) may introduce limitations outside our direct control; where possible we configure them for minimal tracking and maximum accessibility (for example, using youtube-nocookie.com and adding descriptive iframe titles).
